Indeed, shoujo ai needs more recognition. Over in Puerto Rico, it's rare to find a person who's into anime, and even you find one, they're mostly inclined to shonen ai and dislike shoujo ai. I can't wrap my mind around this. As you said, if shonen ai is so popular, so why not shoujo ai?
